FOOD-GRADE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH 

Food-grade amorphous silica for agricultural, horticultural and environmental conditioning. Fresh-water diatoms from the Northern Cape — more than 100 million years in the making. Natural and non-toxic when used as directed. CAS 69710-53-2. 

Directions of use 

BRIDGE it — DIATO-EARTH · Food-grade fresh-water diatomaceous earth 

Insect barrier — garden beds and edible crops 

Amends and improves soil. Natural insect / pest barrier. 

Sprinkle bands of DE around the base of plants.

Mix into soil to improve structure. 

Keep the powder off flowers.

Reapply after rain. 

Soil improvement — living soil and substrate 

Mix 50 g per square meter into potting soil or compost. 

Helps structural porosity and trace-mineral retention. 

Insect barrier — homestead and animal housing 

Dust clean, dry surfaces in coops or bedding areas at 30–50 g per square meter. 

For ants, cockroaches, fleas, bed bugs, mites, silverfish and similar crawling insects. 

Home 

Natural deodoriser and crawling-insect barrier along baseboards, cracks and holes. 

Chemical-free cleaner: absorbs spills. On carpets, leave for 12 hours, then vacuum.
